The manipulation act of Niek Takens won him First Prize for Stage Magic in the under-eighteen division of the Dutch Championships of Magic in 2012. In 2014, he won both the first prize and the Vermeyden Grand Prix at the Dutch Championships, wins that he repeated with a new act in 2017. In the last past years, he has also won major competitions in France, Italy, England And China. Including vice-champion FISM Europe and  the 'Gold Prize' both in Shanghai & Beijing. Also he has been a guest performer at some of the biggest magic festivals in the world including MagicLive in Las Vegas and has been seen in the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood. Together with The Dutch School of Magic, Niek created a new manipulation act, utilizing his own and unique techniques.

The act gets personal coaching by FISM Grand Prix winner Ger Copper and Mike Walther at ‘The Dutch School of MAGIC’.
